Demo
Watch it work. Then call it.
The videos are being filmed on the road in October. The transcript below is what they show.
Phone the demo line
The demo line opens with early access. Join the list and you'll be the first to call it.
- Any phone, no app
- Works with your inbox, calendar and CRM
- Founder-built, early access
The call, written down
From the main video: a morning call from the car, start to finish.
- At 0:00 “Hello, this is CallMyDesk, your AI assistant. Morning. Three things matter: Sarah at Henderson wants Thursday, your accountant needs a yes on the August figure, and a new lead came in from the web form.”
- At 0:14 “Reply to Sarah: yes to Thursday, two o'clock.”
- At 0:22 “To Sarah Mills at Henderson, on her ‘Thursday?’ thread. ‘Hi Sarah, yes, Thursday at two works. See you then.’ Shall I send it?”
- At 0:31 “Send.”
- At 0:33 “Sent. Do you want to deal with the accountant now, or at the next exit?”
- At 0:36 “Next exit.”
Notice the order. It told you what mattered before you asked for anything. The reply to Sarah went out in under 20 seconds, in your words. And it left the other two until you were ready.
That is the whole product: you say what you need, and it gets done.
Call it yourself
The whole idea is that you can call the office. So call it. The demo line runs the same software as the product, on a sample inbox, calendar and CRM for a made-up company called Harrow Fabrications Inc. It connects to nothing of yours, it keeps nothing between calls, and it cannot send anything to anyone. You get three minutes, which is enough to clear a sample inbox and send a reply that, honestly, does not go anywhere.
What it says when it picks up
- “Hello, you've reached the CallMyDesk demo line. I'm an AI assistant. This is a three-minute demo with sample data, so nothing here is real and nothing will be sent. Try asking me what's in the inbox, or to draft a reply. What would you like me to do?”
Four things to try in three minutes
-
- “What's in the inbox? Skip the newsletters.”
It reads out the few that matter and says how many it skipped. Listen for "give me a moment" while it looks; that is the few seconds it takes to read a real inbox.
-
- “Reply to the first one: yes, Thursday is fine, propose two o'clock.”
It drafts the reply, tells you who it is going to and what it says, and asks whether to send it. Then listen to what it says next.
-
- “What's on the calendar tomorrow, and who am I seeing first?”
It reads the day from the sample calendar and the last note on that person. Then ask it to move a meeting.
-
- “Log a note on the Harrow deal: they liked the price, decision next month.”
It says the note in the words it would write to the CRM. Try giving it a name it might mishear, and listen to how it checks.
What the demo is, and is not
It is
- The same assistant the product uses, with the same voice and the same rules.
- A sample inbox, calendar and CRM for a company that does not exist.
- Three minutes, with a reminder when 30 seconds are left.
- An AI, and it tells you so when it picks up.
It is not
- Connected to any account of yours. It cannot read your email or your calendar, and it will not ask to.
- Able to send, book or log anything. When you ask it to send, it says: "In the real product that would now be sent. Here, it isn't."
- A memory. It forgets the call when you hang up, so each call starts fresh.
- Unlimited. Up to three calls a day from one number, so that everyone who wants a turn gets one.
If you want it on your own inbox and calendar, that is early access, below.
Want it on your own accounts?
The demo runs on a sample inbox. Early access runs on yours: Microsoft 365 for mail and calendar, with Google Workspace in early access and limited places while Google reviews our app; HubSpot, Pipedrive or Salesforce for the CRM. You connect them once in a browser, choose a PIN, and from then on it is a phone call. If you want it to call or text you, with a morning brief for instance, you say yes to that at signup and we text a one-time code to confirm it's your cell phone; every call it makes to you opens with the CallMyDesk name and a number you can call back, and "stop" ends it at any time. Early access is going to the people who will use it most, so tell us what you do and what you use, and we will put you in the right queue.
Already sure? Reserve a founding seat. $49, refunded in full if you change your mind.
The founding-seat deposit is $49 and is refundable in full at any time before your first invoice. Ask by email and we refund within five business days.
Questions about the demo
Read the FAQIs the demo line the real product, or a recording?
It is the real software, talking to a sample inbox, calendar and CRM instead of yours. You can ask it anything you would ask on your own line and it will answer in about a second and go and look when it needs to. The only differences are that it has no access to real accounts, it cannot send, book or log anything, and it forgets the call when you hang up.
What can I not do on the demo?
You cannot connect your own email, calendar or CRM; that is early access. It will not send anything, even when you ask it to, and it will not call you back or text you. Calls end at three minutes, with a reminder when 30 seconds are left, and one number can make three calls a day. Everything else, including trying to trip it up with a name it might mishear, is fair game.
What happens to my call and my number?
The call is handled like any customer call: the audio is deleted after 30 days and the transcript after 90, and neither is used to train any model, ours or anyone's. Your number is kept only to apply the three-calls-a-day limit. We do not call it, text it or add it to any list. The privacy page has the detail.
